Indigo Emily Rose is the pen name of a storyteller who writes between the lines of fantasy and reality. Choosing to stay partially anonymous allows her to protect the sacredness of the stories she tells, tales that are deeply personal, yet universal in their themes of love, loss, and finding your voice after silence.

She first began writing over 15 years ago, scribbling worlds into notebooks and dreaming of characters who felt more like soul reflections than fiction. Life, as it does, swept her into other chapters, but the stories never stopped whispering. It wasn’t until the quiet returned that she began writing again—this time with The Echo Seven Saga, a seven-part journey through the realms of Elamarae, Thalassean, and Aether.

Her stories are portals: into other worlds, yes—but also into the parts of ourselves we forget to listen to. With threads of sacred geometry, trauma healing, and emotional truth woven through fantasy, her writing explores how we lose ourselves, and how we come home to ourselves. A strong advocate against domestic violence, and abuse, some of the themes of the books can carry stories of resilience and strength, please be aware when reading.

As a well established artist & designer, I write anonymously under the Pen name Indigo Emily Rose.

I wrote my first book 15 years ago, and got back into writing in 2020 after experiencing years of trauma, and leaving a domestically violent relationship. Often my work can depict some

psychologically challenging subjects which I try to handle with the tenderness and care they deserve. It has become an important part of my journey to channel some of my experiences onto the pages of books, for healing, while recognising others have experienced some trauma themselves and might be able to relate to the pages on these books. As a survivor of trauma often the first thing people say is that they feel as though their voice has been silenced. Writing for me allows that part of my voice to be accessed. And I thank you for supporting that.

I absolutely love creating fantasy worlds both artistically and in literature.

The Echo Seven Saga was a pleasure for me to write and I thoroughly enjoyed falling in love with each of the characters, their journeys, triumphs and sometimes challenges. All of the things that make each of us the incredible creatures and beasts we are, roaming this human realm, just having a human experience.
